Viper Portal for Maritz Suppliers

The customized-for-Maritz Viper Portal will streamline business between your DMC and Maritz. Rest assured, the confidential data you provide through the Maritz Viper Portal is only accessible to Maritz team members and is NOT shared with other DMCs, meeting planning companies, or third parties.

The Process: Getting Started with your Maritz Viper Portal

  • Get Organized: Start pulling together your proposal content that you wish to share with Maritz. See the Tariff requirements below.
  • Login: Once your account has been created, look for a Welcome Email that will contain your login credentials for the Maritz Viper Portal. Once logged in, you’ll see next steps outlined in your Portal Dashboard.
  • Upload Insurance Info: Upload up-to-date insurance information as necessary.
  • Upload Proposal Content: Upload your proposal content for Maritz’ use to the Tariff in the Maritz Viper Portal. You can upload existing content in an editable format (like Microsoft Word or PowerPoint) or create content directly in the Viper Tariff.

For each Maritz-approved destination you serve, please plan to provide proposal content based on the suggested minimums below. As outlined in The Process above, begin gathering your current proposal content as soon as you can and be prepared to load your proposal content into the Maritz Viper Portal as separate files organized by the categories outlined below.

Costs for Suppliers

If you are a DMC that already has your own Viper portal, there is no cost for you to use the Maritz Viper Portal. If you are not already a Viper-using DMC, the costs are outlined below.

One-time Setup Fee: $99. Covers setting up your portal user(s), profile, and Tariff.

Subscription Fee: $25 per-month, or $250 per-year if paid annually. Covers access to your Tariff, your insurance documents and information, Tariff reports, support, hosting, and data storage (your card will be charged automatically after initial invoice).

Questions You May Have as a Maritz Supplier

Maritz is adopting Viper to increase efficiences and streamline business communications with Maritz DMC suppliers. Viper makes it easier to manage insurance information and proposal content for both Maritz and its DMC suppliers.
You will be providing insurance information and proposal content. Insurance information includes documentation, coverage amounts, expiration dates, etc. Proposal content includes descriptions (like text and images) of your offerings and your pricing with Maritz. You will NOT be asked to provide your vendors or your costs.
Only members of YOUR team with credentials to access the Maritz Viper Portal and members of the Maritz team can access the insurance information and proposal content you upload to the Maritz Viper Portal. No other DMCs, meeting planning companies, or third parties will have access to your data.
In your Portal Dashboard, there will be a link to a tutorial for uploading insurance information to the Maritz Viper Portal. You’ll be able to upload insurance documents and input your other insurance details like expiration dates and coverage amounts.
In your Portal Dashboard, there will be a link to a tutorial for uploading proposal content. For you, the Tariff puts you in charge of your content. Viper makes it easy to keep your Maritz content organized, up-to-date and looking fresh. And for Maritz, the Tariff makes it easy to find your content without having to bug you for it.
The customized Maritz Viper Portal that you will be given access to utilizes only a small percentage of the features available in a standard deployment of Viper for a single DMC. We do suggest you consider joining the Maritz Viper Portal as a means to keep our team members up to date on your contact information and Tariff content. This will be the most effective way to educate our Proposal Development team and Meeting Event Managers on your offerings. They will be referring to Viper when preparing destination options for our clients in presentation stages and for planning purposes. With the time restrictions we are given in the current environment, Viper is the most efficient way for them to gather pertinent information. If you are not on the Maritz Viper Portal, it is likely you may not be contacted for opportunities.
